Children
The Children’s Ministry provides childcare for infants and toddlers in the nursery and WeeKirk for children in second grade and below on Sunday mornings. We also provide opportunities for faith formation during the year with monthly gatherings for children in third through fifth grade in Club 345. During the year we meet for various lunches, parent’s night outs, Trunk-or-Treat, and pool parties n the summer.
Youth Group
Our youth ministry program reaches out to young adults from 6th grade up to 12th grade. We meet weekly for lunch or dinner during the year and engage with faith topics that most suit our seasons of life. Outside of weekly gatherings, we travel together, have lock-ins, and support one another through mission opportunities. Every year we also open up a Confirmation class for students 9th grade and up who are interested in growing their faith by learning the foundations of the Bible and Church membership.
preschool
The First Presbyterian Church kindergarten is a tuition-based, self-supporting, non-profit school responsible to the Session of First Presbyterian Church.
Our goal is to provide the best conditions possible to promote each child's psychological, mental, emotional, and spiritual growth; to also strengthen his/her capacity to establish healthy and meaningful relationships with children his/her own age; to find joy and satisfaction in creative work; to share; to respect him/herself and others; and to know God through Jesus, through His Church, and the world.
