The Children’s Ministry provides childcare for infants and toddlers and Sunday School classes for preschoolers through grade 2. Club 345 (for 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders) meets monthly on the first Wednesday from 6:00-7:30. We also provide opportunities for spiritual growth for families by hosting Parents Night Out, a Fall Festival, an Easter event, and Vacation Bible School in the summer.
club 345 & Youth Group
The Youth Ministry reaches out to youth of all ages interested in growing their faith by learning the foundations of the Bible and enjoying fellowship with each other in fun settings. Club 345 meets monthly the first Wednesday from 6-7:30 in the Youth Room. High school students meet the second Sunday at 9:30am for breakfast with Josh Woodsmith, Director of Christian Education.
We gather for dinner and fellowship on Wednesday nights during the school year. After dinner, the Joyful Noise Children’s Choir rehearses to learn music to sing in worship. The children also have time for fellowship and play.
vacation bible school
Vacation Bible School is a wonderful opportunity for children to learn about God’s love through Bible study, music, recreation, arts & crafts, and large group gatherings.
The First Presbyterian Church kindergarten is a tuition-based, self-supporting, non-profit school responsible to the Session of First Presbyterian Church.
Our goal is to provide the best conditions possible to promote each child's psychological, mental, emotional, and spiritual growth; to also strengthen his/her capacity to establish healthy and meaningful relationships with children his/her own age; to find joy and satisfaction in creative work; to share; to respect him/herself and others; and to know God through Jesus, through His Church, and the world.
