Church Life
First Presbyterian is an open and affirming congregation of grace and welcome where we celebrate God’s unconditional love through joyous worship, authentic relationships, and loving outreach. We worship together every Sunday morning at 11 a.m. There are also lots of special mission and ministry opportunities going on. We would love to have you join us!
The inaugural Fayette Pride event will be on the Fayetteville Courthouse Square on Saturday, August 1, 12 – 5:00pm. The goal of organizing volunteers and local agencies is a welcoming, family-friendly, joyful experience. So, grab your First Pres t-shirt and favorite rainbow gear and come celebrate Acceptance and Inclusion! You can participate by marching with your church family in the Fayette Pride Parade. The 1.4-mile parade route starts and ends at the Justice Center, with all participants ready to go by 12:00pm and passing by the Courthouse Square at 1:00pm. If walking is not your thing, you can still enjoy the Pride Market and cheer on the parade as it passes by!
Adult Bible Study meets on Sundays from 9:30-10:30 am in the Philip Hamilton Room (AE-4) No preparation is necessary-just bring your own Bible. All are invited to attend. This Sunday we will continue our study of Romans.
